Male drivers cause more fatal accidents: NH&MP

The ratio of fatal accidents shows that male drivers have been involved in carelessness and rash driving as compared to women who have best driving abilities.

This was said by Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG), National Motorway of police Muhammad Umar on Sunday.

He added that National Highway &Motorway Police have established around 28 driving and training institute for women, because they are more than half of the population.

He said abiding by the traffic rules is the duty of every citizen and following road safety precautions saves not only their own lives but the lives of others.

NH&MP will keep up to the tradition, it has set to achieve the goal of safe driving and zero accidents, he added.

He reiterated that women should come forward and learn the skills that are the need of hour because women are more than half of the population.

Besides, NHMP special force is creating awareness among the road users by conducting seminars, workshops in the schools, colleges and universities.
