Friday’s homecoming: Rasheed dares Nawaz to bring his sons

Awami Muslim League (AML) chief Sheikh Rashid dared the former prime minister Nawaz Sharif on Tuesday to bring back his two sons also, Hussain Nawaz, Hassan Nawaz and also the former finance minister Ishaq Dar on Friday’s homecoming.
Nawaz has ten days left to challenge the accountability court verdict. He is not coming for the people but to save himself, Rashid said.
“Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz are not coming for the people, if they do not come, they will lose the chance to challenge the decision” he further said.
He said the duo is fooling the public while we are restoring the sanctity of the vote.
He also said that if he wanted he would have lodged a case against captain (retd) Safdar but he is not a “cheap” like him. (But he would rather chose the grace in not doing so)
“Taking Safdar’s rally toward Lal Haveli has yielded no results” the AML chief commented.
He also remarked that it was impossible to buy votes from the public of Rawalpindi district.
Rashid deeming the police to be “rough” asserted that he will prefer staying with the people in the last 72 hours leading to the polls as “the competition in NA-60 is against the drug peddlers while in NA-62 it is against the land grabbers of the city”.
The proceeding on Friday is significant as the loyalty for Sharifs in Lahore will be tested, he said.
He also conjectured that people will not come out of their homes to welcome Nawaz on Friday.
