CDA to distribute 30,000 saplings of plants among residents

The Capital Development Authority (CDA) and Metropolitan Corporation Islamabad (MCI) have started its spring plantation drive by distributing different saplings to capital’s inhabitants.

The sources state that nearly 30,000 different saplings would be distributed in capital residential sectors. The staff of environment wing would not only provide plants to residents but will also train them on how to protect these plants.

The administrative authority’s environment wing has prepared four trucks which would be used for distributing plants to residents.  The drive would continue till March 19 as staff of capital union councils, local body representatives and schools children would take part in this tree plantation drive.
