Interior ministry concerned about Chinese citizens safety

The interior ministry has issued the alert to beef up the security of developmental projects in federal capital like other parts of the country.

The Daily Morning Mail has learnt that after receiving the report of security agencies in which it was informed that RAW has planned to sabotage the CPEC project, the security of the foreigners especially the Chinese living in Islamabad has been increased.

Furthermore, the check posts of Pak Army are established on Kashmir Highway and Islamabad Express way and patrolling on these important roads has also been increased.

It is worth mentioning that, three incidents have taken place where Chinese citizens were made targeted in the vicinities federal capital.

Senior Superintendent Police (SSP) Islamabad Najeeb ur Rehman informed that the security measure for the protection of foreigner particularly Chinese is being tighten up and comprehensive strategy is being designed by appointing focal persons in all circles to thwart the any untoward incident.
