The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Rawalpindi on Wednesday announced that the postponed intermediate supplementary examination will be held from November. The supplementary exams were previously postponed due to protests of religious parties against the acquittal of a Christian woman by the Supreme Court after setting aside her sentence handed down by a trial court and retained by a high court.
According to the revised schedule, exams for Computer Science Part-I and Sociology Part-I will be held on November 14, while English Compulsory Part-I exams will be held on November 15 and the Part-II exams of Pakistan Studies Compulsory, Commerce Group, Education and Statistics will be held on November 16.
A spokesman for the BISE said that roll number slips of the students had been dispatched to the educational institutions concerned and their postal addresses. He said that the roll number issued earlier would also be accepted during the examing.
“Examination centre and lab centres will remain the same and the students will appear in the examination accordingly,” he said.
For further queries, students have been advised to contact the controller examination on 051-5450917 and 051-5450918. APP
