Khyber Pakhtunkhwa IG, chief secretary reshuffled

The provincial government of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (KP) on Saturday removed the province’s top police official and the chief secretary from their posts.

As per a notification issued by the Establishment Division, IG K-P Salahuddin Mehsud has been transferred as IGP Azad Kashmir while Muhammad Naeem Khan, the Azad Kashmir IGP, will take up the vacant KP police spot.

Chief Secretary K-P Naveed Kamran has been asked to report to the Establishment Division. His vacant position has been given to Pakistan Administrative Services Grade 21 officer Muhammad Saleem. Saleem, prior to the appointment, was already serving in the province.

Additionally, Chief Secretary Azad Kashmir Khawaja Dawood Ahmed has been made Additional Registrar of the Supreme Court.
