Religious scholars’ role crucial in uniting Ummah: Imam-e-Kaaba

Imam-e-Kaaba Sheikh Dr Abdulla Awad Al-Juhany on Saturday said religious scholars have crucial role in guiding Muslim Ummah.

He said religious scholars are those stars on the planet that lead Muslim Ummah. He said this while talking to religious scholars and leaders of religio-political parties at a local hotel in Islamabad. The ceremony was arranged by the Saudi Embassy in Islamabad.

Islamic Sharia Council Chairman Dr Kibla Ayaz, Jamiat-e-Ulma-e-Islam Secretray General Abdul Ghafoor Haidri, Chairman Religious Affair Committee Maulana Asad Mehmood, Chairman Pakistan Ulma Council Maulana Tahir Asharfi, Professior Sajid Mir, Mulana Muhammad Ahmed, Maulana Fazlur Rehman, former religious minister Sardar Yousaf and others were present in the meeting.

Sheikh Dr Abdulla Awad Al-Juhany said some anti-Islam elements have been working to create differences among the Muslim Ummah and the Muslim community should tied the rope of God. He said in this regard religious scholars have crucial role to play.
