Videogate case: IHC sets aside registrar office’s objections on petition

ISLAMABAD

Islamabad High Court (IHC) has set aside the objections raised by registrar office on the petition of Nasir Butt in Judge Arshid Malik video scandal.

IHC bench comprising Justice Amir Farooq and Justice Mohsin Akhtar kiyani announced the reserved judgment Tuesday.

The court set aside the registrar office objections on miscellaneous petition filed by Nasir Butt in connection with presentation of video forensic report.

The court directed registrar high court to mark number on Nasir Butt miscellaneous petition.

The decision about the matter related to Nasir Butt as affected party will be made on judicial side.

Nasir Butt had requested that he should be allowed to record his statement before the court. He had also requested to seek statement of forensic experts.
