CDA demolishes several illegal constructions

Capital Development Authority (CDA) with the assistance of other concerned department demolished several illegal constructions and encroachments during the anti-encroachment operations conducted in different parts of the city on Monday.

During the operations conducted on Monday, teams of Enforcement Directorate razed six (06) animals’ sheds, seven (07) illegally constructed walls and several gates installed on state land behind Javed Market sector I-10/4.

Similarly, four (04) building material depots from different areas of sector G-8 were also removed while one (01) illegally constructed room and one (01) wood tall in sector G-9 was also demolished by the teams of Enforcement Directorate.

During another action taken in Dhok Kak near Kak Pull teams of Enforcement Directorate demolished two (01) illegally constructed rooms and one (01) boundary wall.

In an earlier operation Enforcement Directorate of the Capital Development Authority conducted operation in sector F-6 and removed several installations outside the plot lines and opened the pathways for general public.

During this operation, 04 check posts were demolished, 01 generator and one guard post was removed while 05 generators were disconnected.

Similarly, during the operation conducted on G.T Road from EME college heading towards Taxila, Enforcement Directorate demolished several illegal constructions and encroachments from the vicinity. Heavy machinery was used in demolishing process. During this operation, 04 hotels, 02 kiosks, 01 tyre shop, 04 depots of shuttering material and other moveable and immovable encroachments were removed and several kanal state land was retrieved.

During another operation conducted in sector I-14, teams of Enforcement Directorate removed 16 depots of construction material, 10 chapper hotels, 07 containers, 05 kiosks, 04 shuttering depots and 04 illegally constructed rooms from the area.
