Abu Dhabi crown prince, COAS discuss regional situation





Chief of the Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Saturday arrived at United Arab Emirates and held meeting with Crown Prince Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al-Nahyan.

According to the UAE embassy in Pakistan’s official Twitter account, the Abu Dhabi crown prince and the army chief, ways to enhance cooperation between the two countries were discussed.

Defense sources told Daily Morning Mail that it was agreed in the meeting that defence and military cooperation will be increased between two countries. The Abu Dhabi crown, who is also deputy supreme Commander of UAE armed forces, hailed the professionalism of Pakistan armed forces and said that UAE wanted to enhance relations In all fields.

Both discussed latest situation in the region, Afghan peace talks and other important issues regarding peace in Middle East.
